| Pro SRF: Rettich Quickest in Brainerd Practice |
Scott Rettich will lead the SCCA Pro Racing Spec Racer Ford Series into day two at Brainerd International Raceway after posting the quickest time in Friday (September 2) practice at the Minnesota road course.
Rettich, the defending series champion, showed his intentions for the Rounds Seven and Eight doubleheader at Brainerd by immediately moving to the top of the timing charts when the action officially got underway via a late afternoon practice run. Behind the Alliance Autosport racer, fellow title contender Brian Schofield was also quickly up to speed, placing his PM Racing entry second on the speedcharts. Series newcomer Tim Gray completed the top-three, leading Matt Gray and PM Racing’s Jean-Luc Liverato when the checkered flag waved.
The SCCA Pro Racing Spec Ford Racer Series drivers return to action on Saturday (September 3) with a morning practice session, followed by a qualifying run and Round Seven.
The top-three will be posted following every session on the ESR Facebook page and ESR Twitter page.
